Case against horse thief results

November 30, 2010

Here is the result of OGO Circle H Hunnewill and OGO Shawalla El Cortez being stolen and sent to slaughter by a man with a agenda against Terry Jensen in Horse Shoe Bend Idaho.

The District Attorney, R J Twilligar refused to prosecute this case even though he had not only an eye witness willing to testify this man loaded the horses up in his trailer – never to be returned, the thief himself confessed to a sheriff that he stole my horses and even told the sheriff where he took them.

The authorities then appealed to the Attorney General who agreed to take the case, but R J Twilligar refused to turn the case over to the Attorney General.

I have decided I can no longer have any of my horses in Idaho where horse thieves are protected and the District Attorney refuses to do his job.

Horses are not safe in Horse Shoe Bend/ Idaho City County.  The standing joke among many citizens there is “If you want to commit murder and get away with it, come to Idaho City /Horse Shoe Bend Idaho.  The District Attorney R J Twilligar won’t prosecute”

Thank you Sheriff Larry Lampson for your tireless work to bring justice to this case. Your effort will never be forgotten.

OGO Program:

The OGO Morgan Horse Breeding Program has sustained substantial damage caused by a sequence of circumstances – including but not limited to, the crime committed against OGO Circle H Hunnewill and OGO Shawalla El Cortez.  The following is the result.

OGO Circle H RoseWood SOLD

OGO Flower of the Prairie  Re-homed to a non breeder

Ursulas Higuera Bandita Re-homed to a non breeder

OGO Tejon de Oro Hermoso gelded

OGO Circle H Romanesque Re-homed to a breeding program

OGO Higuera Rio Bravo re-homed to a breeding program

Circle H Merlita retired re-homed as a pasture mate.

Hopefully the bloodlines that were the basis of this breeding program will continue on through the blood of the horses bearing the OGO prefix.  It is my hope that someday in the future more fine Foundation themely bred morgans will be produced with the OGO prefix to show the tribute to the
master breeders of old.

Thank you to the Master Breeders, Roland G Hill, Richard Sellman, Elmer Brown, Sid Spencer along with all the other countless breeders that have stayed true to the Foundation bloodlines of Americas Horse, “The Morgan Horse”.
